Research Project: Autism Spectrum Disorders: Identification of Novel Microdeletion and Microduplication Syndromes and Clinical Endophenotypes

The DNA of autistic individuals is analyzed for the presence of small deletions and duplications in their genome, the goal being to define new syndromes associated with autism, and identify the underlying genes linked to autism and/or its associated phenotypes.
