The Training Program is looking for people who intend to pursue a career of research in the area of ASDs. Successful candidates have demonstrated their ability to work independently as well as in a Team setting, and an exceptional level of academic achievement, as demonstrated through successful completion of relevant academic programs, transcripts and reference letters (click here for application instructions). Moreover, they must identify a strong ability to communicate, both with the scientific community and with the families who have a member with an ASD.
Potential applicants must already be accepted into a Graduate Program with a supervisor who is listed as a Primary Mentor*.
Please note: The number of applications exceeds the number of available positions and meeting the minimum requirements does not guarantee a placement in the Training Program.
As there are more applicants than positions available, applicants are encouraged to contact possible mentors well ahead of the deadline. The deadline is June 15th of each year, but late applications will be considered based on availability of funding. Applications will be reviewed by The Admissions, Review, and Funding Committee. Decisions of acceptance will be sent out by email in July of the year of application.
